Morgan starred on a video about AIDS education and prevention, Safe Sex for Men and Women. Morgan donated a portion of her income to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is also a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a part of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Group. She has also spearheaded many other fundraising projects to combat AIDS and testified before the special Congressional Committee regarding AIDS Education. Morgan is also a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar and on the board of Governors of APLA. The organization has asked her to fill in for the former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop at related events involving AIDS. Steve Bell, a news anchor, has also presented a AIDS Awareness Special. She has appeared twice on Nightline together with Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan was awarded an Emmy nomination for a particular episode on Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. In the spring, she starred with Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer began by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner.
